Easter Events 2019 in El Paso TX
Easter is coming up later this month, and we here in Texas need to find some ways to celebrate. To help, we’ve compiled a few of the happenings we’re most excited for. Let’s take a look at our top anticipated Easter events in El Paso for this wild year of 2019.
Easter Eggstravaganza 2019!
When? Saturday, April 13 at 10 am
Where? Reynolds Home, 8023 San Jose Rd, El Paso TX
Taking place at the Reynolds home, this bash is for those who want to get the jump on Easter a week early. It will cover all the bases- egg hunts for all ages, games, food, pictures with the Easter bunny, and more. There is a suggested donation of $5 to get access to this Easter joy.

Eggstravaganzoo & Party for the Planet
When? Saturday, April 20 from 4 pm to 10 pm
Where? El Paso Zoo, 4001 E Paisano Dr, El Paso TX
This unique event at the El Paso Zoo combines two key events- Earth Day weekend and Easter. Yep, this is for all you hippies out there, and we mean that in a good way.
There’s going to be a lot of cool stuff going down, including inflatables, magic shows, live entertainment, and photo opportunities with the Easter bunny. On the “save the planet” side of things, there will be community partners teaching about the Earth’s resources (we’re guessing they’re not going to say that resources are infinite and we can do whatever we please with them).
Participants will also be able to “travel around the world at the Zoo” with their “passport to Eggventure.” There will be stops at “Eggtivity Stations” to get candy prizes (ages 3-12 only please). Eggucation will teach participants about nests, habitats, and real eggs. You’ll even get to watch animals enjoying their own egg hunts and “Eggrichment treats.”
The Eggstravaganzoo & Party for the Planet is free with regular zoo admission. As always, this excludes certain zoo activities like train rides and Giraffe feeding, along with Easter Bunny photos; snaps with the egg-obsessed rabbit start at $10.
