Outside of the big cities like San Antonio, Houston, Austin, and Dallas, Texas offers some of the best views of the night skies. It’s amazing to think that the early Texas cowboys gazed up at that star-filled sky as they traveled around the state moving cattle. Now, in 2019, the sky is still a mystery but at least we know a little more thanks to the numerous studies and missions conducted by NASA.
