This year, Nissan took a moment to show its love for America with a very clever display that pays homage to the United States Constitution. A New Take on an Old Document

Spread out across 51 license plates from all 50 states and the District of Columbia, American artist Mike Wilkins created a modern-day twist on the Preample to the United States Constitution. Presenting the text from the Preample in a 21st century reinterpretation, Mike Wilkins managed to condense the message of our forefathers into something new. In fact, at first glance, some may mistake it for a tweet on Twitter.

Nissan enters the discussion because the display was donated by Nissan Motor Corporation to the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, D.C. Want to see it for yourself? The exhibit is currently on display in the north wing of the first floor of the Smithsonian.
