What does Intelligent Climate Control mean?
Intelligent Climate Control will intelligently adjust the interior temperature of your vehicle once you remote start it. If the outside is hot (as is often the case here in El Paso), the Intelligent Climate Control will cool your interior to a comfortable level. If the outside is cold, the Intelligent Climate Control system will be smart enough to realize you probably want things toastier, and will warm up the insides.
What if I activate remote start by accident- will my vehicle be running all day?
Activating remote start will result in your vehicle starting up for just ten minutes. This prevents unnecessary waste of fuel and production of emissions. Following the remote start procedure on your FOB a second time will kick off another ten-minute period. After this one, you’ll have to cycle the ignition switch on and off before you can use remote start again.
How do I activate Remote Start in my 2019 Nissan Rogue?
Remote Start is employed by pressing the lock button on your key FOB, then, within five seconds, holding down the remote start button for at least two seconds. This ritual is complex enough that you’ll be unlikely to do it accidentally, but easy enough to be convenient and simple to remember. Alternatively, remote start can be activated through the NissanConnect Services app.
