2019 Halloween and Día de los Muertos Events in El Paso 

When it comes to annual holidays, Halloween and Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, have to be some of the ones most looked forward to by families. Since we love our community, we thought we would put together a list of 2019 Halloween and Día de los Muertos events happening in El Paso in the days surrounding October 31.

Of course, we certainly don’t have a complete list here. So, if you know of any events that we didn’t include, be sure to share them with us and others in the comments section at the bottom of this page.  

2019 Halloween Activities and Events | El Paso 

Boo at the Zoo 

Oct. 26-27; 10am – 5pm 

Visit the El Paso Zoo to enjoy the animals and a haunting good time. Activities include candy stations for trick-or-treating, a haunted house, games, decorated pumpkins, and moreover, the first 2,500 children to visit each day will get a complementary trick-or-treat bag. 

El Paso Community College Fall Festival 

Oct. 31; 6:30 pm – 10:30pm 

Visit the El Paso Community College at Valle Verde, American Village on Halloween for family-friendly fun that includes inflatables, games, food and fun. There is also a costume contest for ages 0-12. Admission to all inflatables can be purchased for $15, while individual tickets for the food, games or single inflatables can be bought for $1 each. 

2019 Día de los Muertos Activities and Events | El Paso 

Día de los Muertos With the El Paso Downtown Arts District 

Nov. 2; 2pm – 9pm 

Head downtown on the Saturday following Halloween for some Día de los Muertos celebrations that include music, vendors, activities and more.  

Concordia Cemetery Día de los Muertos Festival 

Nov. 2; 2pm – 8pm 

Included in this celebration is live music, food trucks, face painting, dancers, poetry reading and a whole lot more. Tickets are $5 but if you have kids 6 and under, they can attend the event for free. The celebration is hosted by the Concordia Heritage Association.
