Whether it was that person directly or one of their loved ones, practically everyone has a connection to cancer in our modern-day society. Making Strides of El Paso
When: Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018
Where: Edgemere Linear Park – Burges High School
In support of the American Cancer Society, members of the El Paso community from all walks of life will come together to join in one massive movement on Saturday, October 20. All are welcome to participate in this historic event, Making Strides of El Paso, by registering in advance online or in person on the day of the walk. The walk itself will not be rushed whatsoever. All participants are encouraged to take their time and stop when they need to; no one will be required to cross the finish line. When the final active participant does cross the line, the walk will be concluded. Making Strides of El Paso will also have a special area for survivors as well as their caregivers. Simply put, everyone will have an opportunity to participate in this incredible event.
